Grey Water Tank/Tanks? on the Fuel 305

Hello, my wife and I are new to the RV world. We bought a 2021 Fuel 305 Toy Hauler and I cannot seem to find the info on my Grey water system. My spec sheet says that I only have 1 grey water tank, but I have 2 great water valves. And this weekend while camping I kept checking my grey water tank level which read empty until the shower and sink started to back up. Once I opened the 2 valves they immediately drained. I also pressed the “AUX” button which showed full and then emptied with the grey water release? Unfortunately something must have seeped out somewhere because we then got an odor which smelled like spoiled beer or possibly urine? Does anyone know if there is a valve to open the grey water primary tank? I cannot seem to find anything that explains the the routing of the different tanks.

Thank you!

Your 2 water valves are, 1 for the black tank (sewage), and the 2nd for the grey water tank. When you dump, the black is first, so you use the grey water to clean the hose & piping of sewage.
Also keep both valves closed until time to dump.

I have a 2018 Fuel 305. It has a black tank and two gray tanks. The readout are Black, Gray, and Aux. The Gray is hooked to the tank that receives the bath sink and shower and the Aux is hooked to the Kitchen sink. Not sure if they still connect like this or not. It should be noted that on the literature for the RV it only stated 30 gal black and 60 gal gray. Nothing in literature indicted two separate Gray tanks.

I have filled all of my tanks separately on my 2019 Heartland fuel 305. The gray water valve that's right next to the Blackwater tank is for your kitchen sink and shower which don't make sense. The bathroom sink is the only one that fills a separate tank, and that sink is hardly ever used but that's the tanks and how they're filled.

Note the handle that is by itself is the bathroom sink only.

No I have experimented with the tanks filling them all separate and dumping them many times. The bathroom sink goes to a tank by itself the shower and kitchen sink go to the other tank I know that for a fact.

Note it does not make sense why the tanks are hooked that way it does not make sense at all.

Our Torque 327 has the same tank setup plus the washer drain is connected to the rear grey tank, that's why it's designed that way.

I would agree with this comment. I like the way they have the ones tied in on my 2018. Better yet would be the two sinks into one and the shower by itself. I have seen, but could not find the post but somewhere the owner tied the two grey tanks together where they would equalize thus making one large 60 gal tank(assuming they are really two 30s??). My unit also has two dump connections. The front connect is for the Shower and bath sink Grey tank and the back connection has two dump valves. One for the Black tank and one for the Grey tank on the kitchen sink. This could be a pain if you are in a campground for a long time and need to dump multiple times. Never has been an issue for me as I am mostly boondocking when I camp anyway. I think a 2024 model 305, I looked at a while back, had only one dump connection but still had the three dump valves.
