iRV36 Zone Question

Hello,

First time poster here.

We just purchased a new Heartland North Trail with the iRV36 installed. When I tried it for the first time I noticed the zone 1 controls the left speakers (both inside and outside) and zone 2 controls the right side speakers (both inside and outside). Is this normal? I assumed one zone would be indoors and the other zone outdoors? If this is correct, how do I shut off the outside speakers with both zones on?

Any help is appreciated!

No that's not normal. You are right that one zone should be inside and one outside. Most likely the wiring is incorrectly connected at the back of the IRV36. Should be an easy fix. But you probably have to remove the radio to do it.

Here is an install manual. Not sure if it's for your unit. Wiring info is on the 4th page of the document.

Yup! Had same issue with our camper and had to correct the wiring for the speakers.
