Are KIB controlers Bluetooth compatable and if so what year did they start?

The new unit with a touch screen control as pictured here has a matching phone app.


The phone is connected via Bluetooth and is paired to the phone with the box shown below. Maybe started on 2020 Landmark.

Here's more.. not all...you might have to get a new LM next June. Lots of nice features added over the past couple of years. More coming.

I believe KIB sells only to manufacturers and Heartland uses it only as a feature on the Landmark 365.

And I think it would take a significant amount of rewiring of your trailer to install it. As this block diagram of the 2017 KIB system shows, power for 12V devices is routed to the KIB control boards. Each 12V device is wired to a control board to get power. This is a major departure from the way your 12V devices are currently wired.
