We replaced our original mattress with a memory foam mattress which is quite heavy. My wife wanted more drawers. So, I framed out the area under the bed and built 6 drawers with soft close drawer slides. I also added slide out pantry shelves. The drawes were custom. I also a a Maxxair cover over the bathroom vent which alows use of the vent when it's raining.
