Lippert Trail Air Pin Box

The air tube in the pin box appears to have slipped slightly, so that the bottom has come out of the metal retaining ring. Anyone ever have this problem and a possible fix? Wasn't sure if I could relieve the pressure from the air bag and slip it back in place. Pin box is not attached to a trailer. Anyone ever replace the air tube with a new one?

Just deflate the air bag and you will be able to re position it.
I'm not sure, but on the bottom there is either a stud that sits in a hole or a bolt. I'm thinkin stud, its been a while.
So if you don't see a stud you will have to replace a bolt.

Dido on what cookie said.
I'm not sure about the bottom hopefully it just studs or a puck and not bolded.
Just deflated it and take the orfice out of the valve steam so you can deflate the bag more while your pushing on it.

The bottom plate of the air bag has 2 bolts/studs that slide into 2 key holes in the lower jaw. If the rubber is coming out of the bottom mounting plate, you need to replace the air bag.
