Check the circuit breaker buss near the main battery. See page 4 of this document: https://manuals.heartlandowners.org/manuals/User Guides/12V Block Diagram & Diagnostics V2.pdf

Also see pages 26-27 of this document: https://manuals.heartlandowners.org/manuals/User Guides/Electrical V2.pdf

Otherwise, find the wiring coming off of the motor, follow it back to the up-down switch, and on to the battery buss and the common 12 volt ground buss near the battery.

BTW, a bad up-down switch for the landing gear has been a common problem over the years.

thank you..
I have just replaced the switch, but it could have gave out already. i does feel a bit odd when rocking it.... but the landing gear topped out, almost bogged the motor but killed the circuit somewhere just as it started pulling...

As Bill mentioned, look for a buss bar near the battery. One of the small breakers will have a tiny reset button on the end of it. Some owners, with electric jacks, replaced it with a larger (80A) resettable breaker. If you have electric jacks, don’t bother searching for an inline fuse. There isn’t one.

You DO have a DC voltmeter or 12 VDC test light, right?

I would look for voltage at the center terminals of the rocker switch to start. This is about the middle of the circuit. You may want to hand or drill crank the landing gear to make sure it is not bound up. You will see the hand crank and how it connects to the gearmotor on page 2 of this manual. There should be an access hole in the battery compartment above the battery.

Not necessarily. The electric jacks on my 2011 had an inline fuse that was a pigtail fuse and not part of the buss bar. Mine was located in the bundle of wiring near the buss bar fuses. If you bottomed out the jacks for even one second, the fuse would blow. There have been discussion in the past on this forum about this and others have had this same problem. The consensus solution seemed to be to mark the jack legs so you never bottomed out.

If you have no power at the center terminals of the switch as Bill suggests, trace the wiring and look a little further for a fuse.

The presence of an inline fuse was hit or miss with the Venture electric front jacks. My 2009 BH did not have one. I removed the jacks and all wiring when I converted to the original 4-jack Ground Control system and found none.

My 09 was electric and there was a fuse in the front compartment up high and in the middle of the opening. When I put on the Level-up they put in a breaker.

thanks everyone... its a 30amp fuse, and I will replace with a 50a CB... I was surprised to find the wire is so large with only a 30a fuse in it....

Just paint lines on the legs so you don't bottom out. over fusing the system will cause more problems like breaking the ears off the gear box.

On my 2011. they was a wire coming from the exterior relay area right by the battery. That wire behind the battery had an inline fuse, it was for the electric landing gear motor. On mine it wasnt the 30amp type breakers...it was an inline fuse in a lone wire run that was connected to the +12 bus bar near the battery.
