Thanks for your reply. Weve only done a couple of trips this summer to State Parks in Wisconsin and Michigan. We are hoping to go to Rock Island State Park in Tennessee in November. I love older campers so I look forward to seeing pictures of your "87 Mallard. They certainly dont make them like they used to and I think if anyone buys a new rv they better be handy or expect a lot of time in the service department. I'm lucky my husband is able to do repairs and likes to do modifications. I like our model for the fact that it is compact for the 2 of us, and the narrower width makes it easier to tow. I keep wanting to do an extended trip out west with it sometime.

Thanks for your fast reply, working on Mallard, today, early before Sun was on trailer and now that I am once again in the shade, 90 degrees in the Thumb of Michigan, giving roof 2nd coat of Duck roof paint,
$500 paid for this 1987 Mallard, 4 new tires and rebuild front end of trailer due to water damage, and now back inside of trailer slightly water leak, had this trailer sitting at nefews property last 4 years, getting serious about fixing it up, gonna sell city property in 2 years and move to country, live in travel trailer while we finish the new fixer upper property, our house now has all new electrical, plumbing, drywall, new addition added, 2 new bathroom still remodeling and putting in new kitchen, soon hardwood floors throughout, anyway this forum is about travel trailers and such> so 2 photos of my Mallard under restoration, maybe with in a couple years I will make it to the Mallard rally in Michigan hopefully someday/somewhere...Scott.
