Monitor panel

When we are plugged into the 50amp service it shows up on the monitor panel. We are planning on a trip and use the generator which is 30. Does the monitor automatically switch or is there something I have to do for that?

Your PCS system will automatically when both power legs are on the same phase, which is the case with 30 amp service. It will then manage devices to not exceed 30 amps.

It you ever plug into a source that's less than 30 amps, you need to inform the PCS system of what's available, or it will assume 30 amps.
