North Georgia area camping.

We just bought our Heartland in Dec. 17. Haven’t had a chance to take it anywhere due to cold, Christmas, New Years so on and so forth. The kiddos are out of school in mid Feb. and the wifey and I want to take them (4) on a long weekend trip. Any good places that anyone can recommend that will have some “cooler” weather activities?

Blue Ridge GA is really nice....

There is a very nice park called Sugar Mill Creek located just above Clarkesville, Ga, family friendly. Have limited sites for the winter but is great for kids. We have been camping there for over 6 years.

Stone Mtn. is a very good park especially in the Orange and Purple sections. You should be able to do Snow Mountain as well in February. This is tubing down the viewing lawn on man made snow. It is fun when it is cold enough.
