We are about to buy this model and are looking forward to joining this camping life!
I have a few questions as a first time owner(soon to be)
- should I buy a slide topper and is it something I can do myself or should I get the shop to do it.
- same question on a back up camera.
- how can I attach a bike rack to the front or rear?

If new rig, have the shop do the installs for both slide topper & camera. If the rig comes with rear camera prep, it does not take long to do it.
Bike rack, probably better on the front above your LP tanks mounting device.

The rear bumper are not rated to carry a big load.

I just got mine, love it!
I read that slide toppers could be problematic, so I skipped it.
I wish I'd had the dealer install my camera, because in my case (and many others) it's simply a cap, with no wiring. There's some discussion about the meaning of "prepped" and whether it's being skipped intentionally or not.
I haven't installed it yet, but I got a kit to reinforce the bumper for a bike rack. Without some reinforcement, anything extra on the bumper is a no-go. https://a.co/d/iv1BfqS
