If anyone is planning on staying near the Villages in Lady Lake, Florida, The Grand Oaks Museum and RV Resort is definitely the place to stay. It is situated on rolling meadows surrounded by wooded areas and is less than a mile from town, yet very secluded quiet. Just a about a year old with large, paved spacious sites and excellent facilities. Beautifully landscaped and maintained.
The RV park was actually created to support the equine events which are the main purpose of the resort next to the horse carriage museum. The view is great and we like watching the horses working out and in particular the Clydesdale horses they have here.
They have a Good Sam's discount and the seventh day is free.
