Yeah, that happens a lot usually because the screws were over-tightened when the doors were installed thereby stripping the holes. I have fixed them as they break. I keep a supply of just a little larger wood screws on hand and when one breaks I fix both the hinges. I fill the existing holes with glue, break off a toothpick in the hole and then reinstall the hinges using the same wholes with the slightly larger screws. Do NOT over-tighten the screws.
