How do I go about changing out my led porch light from a white to an amber?

I don't know your specific light fixture, but if you can figure how to disassemble it enough to change the bulb, you are about 90% done. Once you get the bulb out of its socket, see if you can see a small part number printed on it. Type that part number plus the character "A" (for amber) into an internet search, and you will probably find your bulb.
