So sorry to hear about Zoey. I know how much she meant to you and i know she’ll be sorely missed. Letting go of something you love is one of the hardest things to do (we had to do it in August with Jetta) - but she’ll be waiting on the other side of the rainbow bridge for you

I made the jump after blowing 2 Goodyear G114s in the last year. I'm Done !!!
I moved to a larger heavier duty tire the Continental HTL2 Eco Plus 235/75R/17.5 Long haul trailer tire. They are rated at 6005lbs per tire so 24020lbs all together. About 1200lbs more per tire over the Goodyear G114s.
This new Tire is just over 1" taller then the G114 was. It raised the trailer about 1/2" I am still at 13' 3" at the center A/C over the axles and 13'4" at the front AC. with my truck sitting at ride height. They actually helped level out my rig when towing behind the F450.
Looking forward to the next trip north see how they do. I've had really bad wear on those G114 I've been though several sets of the Goodyear over the last 7 years... Not sure why I didn't do this A long time ago. One reason was Goodyear will pay for the damages done by their tires. The last one was for $7400.00 repair. Goodyear wrote me A check for $7400.00

HTL2 Eco Plus

This is a Heavy Trailer Long Haul tire. It has Low rolling resistance compound provides excellent fuel economy at cool operating temperatures.

Congratulations. I made this same swap about a year ago and love these new tires. I noticed a significant fuel mileage increase. Let me know if you see a mileage increase also.

Jerrod, If I am not mistaken you have the Moreride IS on your rig. Do you see any difference in how the trailer tows and is there more bouncing? I need to replace my tires on our Big Country which has the Saulin's presently so the tire diameter is only .38 inches small on the Continentals which should not make any difference in the ride height. Were you able to use the same rims that you had? Also, did you make any changes to your TPMS equipment?

Haven't did any miles with them yet. Going to Stockton and back isn't much of a test, LOL

) Yes we do have the IS. With a load range J -18 ply tire I hope to never have a tire issue again. We roll with the Kuerig Coffee maker on the counter so we will see if we see any difference. I did a short trip 20 miles away and back with no noticeable difference. Time will tell.
) I used the same rims and the same TPMS. I have the Ford TPMS system and the TST system both
