Resealing roof??

First time trailer owner here. We have a 2013 thirty two foot Heartland Prowler and I am wondering how often or, when should I consider resealing the roof. Also, where do I find out what product/s I would need to do it? I am the third owner of this trailer and it went from the dealer to a seasonal lot where it sits today. Although I have not seen any signs of leakage, we had a lot of snow this winter so I will have to do a close inspection once we open up this season. Thanks

I believe Heartland recommends inspecting all roof joints and sealant every 3 months. If your roof is Dicor, you can get a lot of information from the Dicor web site. https://dicorproducts.com/resourcesrudys/



There are also a many videos on youtube. Here is just one to get you going.

I do a very thorough inspections of all roof and body sealant yearly and reseal as necessary. It's much easier to maintain and prevent water intrusion than to repair it after it occurs.

Thanks again folks. That Henry 887 Tropicool is not available at Home Depot in Canada so once I determine my roofing material I have I will dig into it further. I can't find Dicor products here either but I see both Henry and Dicor available through Amazon.

I purchased a brand new 2022 Heartland Torque 350. I am a first-time RV owner, and I did not know I was to have an inspection on the RV.
We have had nothing but problems. I am worried the roof was half-*** repaired before it was sold to me. I got on the roof the other day(we purchased the RV in August 2022), and it looked like(see attached picture) this.
The dealership said it was just fine. Thoughts???

about the same as our roof on a 2018 Torque, was just on it today giving it a bath will recoat with a roof protectant this evening or tomorrow. Keep an eye on those sealed edges for cracking or opening up to prevent water intrusion. I check mine often as it sits out year round.

I have heard of people using a can of flex seal on the roof seams, I guess the product works well. For me, I went with flex armor a couple months back. I should never have any leaks. It also is so quiet, we cannot hear when its raining.

I did rv flex armor 2 years ago, my Landmark has never been so quiet.
