Roof AC runs when using furnace

This year is the first time we have had to use the furnace. The roof AC runs when the furnace is on. Is this proper?

Change the thermostat FAN setting to AUTO.

Yes. If I recall, select the fan setting on the thermostat and change it to Auto instead of Low or Hi and that should keep it from turning on while on the heat setting. It only happens when plugged into shore power or on generator. It helps to move the heat throughout the coach but gets quite annoying.
