Roof replacement over existing

Greetings,
I have a 2010 Heartland Bighorn 3670RL that sits permanently on blocks. I want to put a tin roof overtop the existing rubber roof to get away from the on going maintenance. Has an6one heard of this being done before and if so what are possible issues. I am located on the Shuswap lakes in Canada.

since the trailer is permanent, consider building short trusses to hold 1/2" or 3/4" plywood to hold the panels with snow weight in mind. Cap off the front and back peaks to keep the weather out

Rather than go to all that work putting a roof on a roof. Can you do a carport, it keeps mine dry, and protected all year long. Our is rated for 125mph winds and keeps the UV off tte rig too.
