Rt # 5 VA-??

Hi everyone---need some advice on Rt # 5 in VA from Williamsburg to Richmond. Is it RV friendly? I'm ok with it being slow and through small towns, just concerned with bridges and low overpasses. Let me know if anyone has traveled it or any advice

Are you at American Heritage campground? We live 5 minutes from the CG. Enjoying the rain? Definitely a museum day! Let us know if you have any questions about our hometown if you are staying longer.

Route 5 is a US truck route. We know it is ok for towing at least to I295 to go around Richmond. Pretty countryside this time of year!

thanks Jack for the information. spent the day doing some siteseeing--very nice area. We are staying in Williamsburg Campark---will be leaving in the morning and thanks to your comment will travel on VA 5
