Sundance trailer chassis

Hi, I am looking to purchase a Sundance trailer and wondered if the chassis (the L-shaped steel frame that runs all away around the bottom perimeter of the trailer body) can be used to lift or just support the trailer if the wheels are removed for security? Hope someone can advise....

I wouldn't, I'd support under the main frame rails, those are designed to support the weight of the trailer.

Thanks...I'll send a picture though (when I get there tomorrow) as I may have used the incorrect terms...the rails I'm talking about sit directly on the two axles

Hi , pic attached of the rails I was asking about...on closer inspection they are I-beams that run front to back directly above the wheel axle springs so good to lift by...?
