Sway brace or no sway brace?

Hello,

We are picking up our 2022 sundance ultralight 294BH travel trailer this weekend. It's on the range of 6k dry weight. My tow vehicle is a 2018 F-350 lariat. The dealer says I don't need a sway bar but if I do want one I should get a CURT without the chains.

Do I need one? Is there a difference between the solid and chain one?

I wouldn't. F350 has plenty of weight to tame your TT in my opinion. Same with equalizers. Just get a hitch at the right height and you should be fine. Just my opinion after towing trailers of all kinds and sizes with F350's for 40 years. If the trailer was bigger, I'd rather spend money on air bags.
