The slight smell of propane (rotten eggs) in and outside my Fuel 352

I have a 2022 Heartland Fuel 352. I tooko it out last week to find the heat not working as well as I thought it should, as well as smelling propane slightly in the cabin, but stronger around the tanks outside. I spayed soapy water everywhere but could not find any leaks. I hear a light hissing sound near the regulator, but not sure if that is normal. In 2 days I used up over 50 gallons for propane. Is this normal? Any suggestions?

Not normal. Check the regulator. If it is the single stage regulator, there was a recall on these a year so ago.
It could also be the hose went bad. I just replaced a bad hose this summer.

I've had two regulators fail on me. Fortunately they're pretty cheap to replace (I've bought two on Amazon with good success) and a pretty doable DIY project. If you want to give it a go, you usually just need a wrench and a screwdriver. For leak checking soapy water is never a bad start, but you can also buy inexpensive gas detectors on Amazon. I highly recommend them. One of my regulators had a very slight crack in its body - I think an installer/tech might have over-tightened a fitting. It would have been hard to catch with just soap bubbles.

Your regulator is blown. BTDT.
