It's an awesome place with lots of formations and trails. Hoping the view in Central City will at least come close next week.

We'll be there, too . . . can't wait!

I've never been to that KOA, so I'm not sure what the views will be.

Although the mountains around there are pretty cool!

But, Mt. Evans is just a 20 minute drive away . . . and that will take your breath away if you go up there!

We'll see you next week!

The last time I camped at Palo Duro Canyon was to take DW to see the Cross on I40 @ Groom, TX... both were very inspiring.

Also, if you're on a road trip, Caprock Canyon is a great stop this time of year to visit the pumpkin patch in Floydada.

We are going back there again in one month to finish out our 2015 camping season and check out the fall mountain colors!

Nice country there. I was near there elk hunting a few years back.
The fall colors are definitely vivid out there in the Rockies!

Sunset over the front range from Lake Pueblo State Park 9/18/15. Photo doesn't quite capture the beauty.

From dog camp part two - Robin Hood Children's Camp, aka Camp Lucy, aka Heaven on Earth for dogs.

Less the 50' from camper to lake (Yes Gus, we are on a basketball court).
Two tired pups after a week plus of swimming.
Regis dock diving. You'd never know 2 weeks earlier he spent 3 nights/ 4 days in the vet ER.
We had some rain overnight twice.

From dog camp part 1.

NOT MY PICTURE, a fellow camper from Goldstock camp.

Rare site in Pennsylvania, NJ, NY area. Earth's magnetic field was hit with a huge solar flare around September 10th.

"Northern Lights"

Barely visible to the naked eye, but it shows up well on a 30 second exposure. Being well away from city lights helps as well.

Duane, is that a standard configuration on your golf cart? I knew the back seat folded on some but wasn't sure if it made a level bed surface. They look pretty comfy back there. I can no longer take my Mule with me but bought the F150 with 6 1/2' bed to carry a golf cart in back.

The rear seat is a fold down model. I have one of those cushioned floor mats to keep them from sliding off.
The seat has to be in the seat position to park in the Cyclone with a cooler in front of it.
