Water hose recommendations heavy duty

Thinking about relocating my water softener to the basement, looking for a good quality drinking water hose.
Really don't want an rv water hose but not sure what else to look for, thought about washing machine hose but they are not drinking water safe...
I will need a 3' and 5' length.
Water hoses will be the easiest way to hook up the softener, pex would work too, just like the ease of the water hose.

When I did this in my fifth wheel, I used metal jacked hoses. They are flexible. I also set it up so I could regenerate it in place. I mounted it in a plastic tub.

I found some water heater connection hoses at Lowes that will work.

We have the H2O Mobile 16k grain softener, been using it continously for over 7 years now without any issues.
