Water Pump / Pressure issue

It works just fine with campground water hooked up.I don't have but a trickel when trying to use the water pump. Thanks

The water line coming out of the pump tees into the city water line. So if city water is ok, there are only a few possibilities.

  1. Obstruction or kink in the line between pump output and the tee into the city water line.
  2. Air leak on the suction side.
  3. Obstruction or kink on the line from fresh tank to pump.
  4. Pump problem.

Since you've replaced the pump, we can probably ignore that possibility.

Inspect the line from output of the pump to the city water tee to make sure it's not kinked.

Make sure the antifreeze suction line valve is closed. If it was left open while winterizing, the pump is sucking air and won't get any water. Also, if you didn't change the strainer bowl on the suction side of the pump, make sure it's not cracked.

To determine if you have a problem on the line from the fresh tank, try putting the antifreeze suction line into a bucket of water and switch to antifreeze mode. If you get good water flow, there's a problem getting water out of the fresh tank.

Unscrew the little screen/water saver thingy on the tip of the faucet(s) to see if it is clogged or full of little plastic particles.

Thank You. No water pressure in upstairs sink. Water Pressure good in the shower in toilet and everywhere else except bathroom sink. Unscrewed faucet tip where screen is and sure enough found a piece of pink plastic about 1/2 inch long
stuck in little hole. pulled it out and full water pressure again from the sink.
Thanks for posting this. I was looking in the basement and everywhere looking for leaks and found none. Something so simple was the problem.
