What did you do to your camper today?

First I want to say happy veterans day to all of my fellow veterans on this forum. Now to the post. We had to leave the Wilderness with CW shortly after we purchased it for some warranty work and we got some water damage due to the outside kitchen door not closing correctly. It finally got to the point it had to be repaired. What really is what I consider stupid is the press board I took out was heavier than the wood I replaced it with. Here are some before and after pics. The shelf is being stained to match the other wood.

Out with the old foggy window and in with the new .The old gasket was rubber with grooves. I'm using rubber with smooth on both sides but exactly the same thickness and density. Any opinions on the seal it self. The new window is in and it provides a lot more airflow.

I also finally got around to sending the fender skirts to the be painted.

Before reinstalling the window trim I did a little bit of refinishing.

Looking great! Did you use spar urethane? It's extremely resistant to the weather.

What a great idea! I can see how it would lighten up the room. Did you have to patch holes where it was attached to the wall? What did you use?

I added the Mopeka Tank Check LPG Tank Check Dual Sensor with the Monitor Kit.

Did you know they have more then one version of the monitor? The original version will not read correctly with a 30 or 40 pound LPG bottle. It was limited to the 20 pound size.

Look on the bottom and back of the monitor.

If it has a white dot on the bottom or a square QR code label on the back it should be an updated version.

Sad day. Covered the ElkRidge

Come on April!!

Jamie, ever have a problem with cover along the roof edge?

A few years ago during one particularly windy winter the cover rubbed on the radius of the roof enough so that it wore the edges down to where i could see the black showing through.

Although Dicor did tell me it is not really a problem, when you start to see black there is still about 10 years life left.

Actually used Minwax spray stain and polly for the color and used satin polly over that once it dried. Everything was stapled into place from the factory. I used screws this time. I did make sure the lower edge of the wood was sealed just in case water gets down there. Between the door not closing right and CW letting it sit during a nor'easter is how the water got to it. I have since added a second strip of weather stripping to all of the baggage doors to stop water from getting in. Seems to have worked since we were in the middle of hurricane Florence. No leaks anywhere.

To brighten up our 2012 Landmark Rushmore I reupholstered my window treatments. It used to be dark brown on dark brown. I also reupholstered my dining chairs.

We were camping when my wife got the idea, so right now we still have tiny holes in the wall. I'll figure out a solution to patch the holes and do that next weekend...which, sadly will be our "Winterizaiton" trip and the RV will be put into storage, most likely until March. (insert SUPER sad face here)

My wife and talked about doing that as well. I'll show her your image, as it is perfect! Thanks for sharing.

I still have the instructions at home. Let me check to see if I can find how to calibrate these. Let you know soon

No sir. No rubbing problems. 4 years covering the NT TT, 4 years covering the NT 5er and last year with the ER. No issues.

I do add about 8 extra tensioner to various areas to take up any slack. Hopefully we will have good luck this year as well.

I partially installed my new fender. Local RV and body shops quotes 550.00 to 600.00 dollars to prep and paint. A guy down the street from my house painted both fenders for $250.00. I'm planning on some spray foam behind the fender to stabilize and then a bead of silicone along the edge. It was a Kia auto color H5 Java brown.

No photos, but this past weekend I installed a new 12v converter, new battery, and cleaned the contacts on the automatic transfer switch.. All is working fine now! I'm thinking that we may have experienced a power surge or something at the last place we stayed, and it fried our converter and the transfer switch didn't like it either. I need to get surge protection ASAP as well.

I am thinking of doing the same thing. Was your side valance the thin wood strips? My shades get stuck all the time, because they (shades) 'were mounted incorrectly and/or the side wooden valances have nails in the glide area or whatever. Would be helpful to know. Thank you.
Also, we are replacing the couch and theatre chairs. Any ideals of getting them out and new ones in.

Our were not wood, they were fabric. In the image you see, we had simply tucked them up, in order to test the look. Since then we have removed them.

I think they come apart...into 2 pieces. I know for sure the theater seats do, as I had to tighten mine once.
