What is the “Basement” you guys keep referring to?

What is the “Basement” you guys keep referring to? Is it the pass-through storage area? I have a 2017 SD XLT 292BH I just bought. I’m still trying to figure things out. The fact that Heartland does not make user manuals for specific rigs is beyond comprehension. It would solve all my problems.

The basement is the storage area under the rig. In our case, it’s under the bedroom of our fifth wheel.

The basement/garage in my Mallard Pathfinder is the passthrough cargo hold under my bed area. It can only be reached via the outside doors on my trailer.

Same on our 2020 FUEL 362 Toy Hauler. My consternation is, on such a long trailer, (the 362 is 42’+), that there is only ONE (1), full-width storage pass-thru😱. Grrrrrrrr….
