Where is the black tank located in an Ashland??

We are having a situation with our valve on the black tank. It seems that it is only partially open and will not dump properly. We need to know where the location of the black tank is in a 2016 Ashland. We have tried briefly using the flush valve and no solids are flowing. We need to know how to access the valve itself without having to drop the underbelly if that is at all possible.

A quick response would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

There's no easy access to the valves as the coroplast is in the way.

You'll probably need to backflush from the external sewer connection. If you don't have an external backflush device, you can try lifting the sewer hose after it's full of water. The object is to push water backwards to dislodge the likely blockage that's sitting at the gate valve.

Could your problem be the dreaded "poop pyramid"?

Could also be the cutout for the toilet pipe dropped into the tank during build and has found its way to the valve opening.
Back flushing, as Dan suggested, is the only way to move it.

Do you know a friendly plumber that would let you borrow his remote eyeball? Then you could see what the problem is before digging in.

You do not have to drop the entire coroplast just the corner on the off door side, where the frame rises up you can then reach in and adjust the gate valve, It is a tight fit but you don;t have to drop down that much.
