Music and the Blues

Last night we got quite a treat.

We have a small old style theater nearby and last night we went to see Buddy Guy.
Man this guy can still perform at 76 years old! If you are into blues or even rock and he is playing nearby, don't pass up the chance to see him live.

And, he has taken under his wing a phenomenal 14 year old Quinn Sullivan, a hard rocking, blues playing future Eric Clapton.

I know that is a big comment, but you have to see this kid. At one point during the side by side, Buddy stepped back over to the side, stopped playing and stood there smiling watching Quinn play.

I'm hoping by having such a senior entertainer mentoring him, that he avoids many of the pitfalls and traps that catch our young entertainers.

As an extra bene, as we were walking in the front door, Buddy hopped out of his car and walked in with us.

What a great show for a non inflated price of $59 and with only 1500 seats - every one is a good one.

Buddy Guy is a great showman. Polka dot man.
You had a great opportunity seeing these two.
Quinn Sullivan has been around for a while and he has got talent, lots of it.
But as Buddy says "Now the blues ain't what you're singin' The blues is what I feel".
Peace
Dave
