Unidentified switch in battery compartment

I bought a 2013 Bighorn. It has a propane generator and two batteries. On the left wall near the door in the battery/generator compartment is a black switch. It is in the off position. Anyone know what it controls?

I'll take a shot. Light for the battery compartment. Just for fun - turn it to on and see what happens.

If the light does not come on, turn the switch on at the light itself, then the remote switch should work.
