View Full Version : Coming Up: Chariot Vans Tour

Hey all,

I got my new RAM and I am taking it to Elkhart to Dan's Sales and Service (//heartlandowners.org/showpost.php?p=211&postcount=1) to get it tricked out a bit (bed liner, hitch, tool box, bed cover, mud flaps and such).

Jeff is joining me and we plan to stop in at the Heartland factory to spend some time with Scott Tuttle and then we're heading across the street to Chariot Vans (http://www.chariotvans.com/hauler.htm).

We're meeting with the guy in charge of their MDT (medium duty truck) conversion line. If anyone has anything they'd like to know about MDTs, let us know via reply to this post and we'll try to get an answer.

Same too for the Heartland factory, if there's anything we can find out for you, we'll surely try to do so (short of getting delivery dates - sorry Phil:().

Maybe you can find the items that are causing shortages so that people looking to order can decide if the particular option is a "must have" or not and keep their lead times to a minimum.

Hi Jim,

I think the guy you will be meeting at Chariot Vans is John Nusbaum. He is the Tow Division Manager. He took me on a tour of his facility a few weeks back. What a great guy! He treated me like royalty. Be sure to check out the air ride seats. You could probably get a couple of those put in your Ram.

BTW, when are you going to be in Elkhart?

You are right Merlin - it is John Nusbaum. Thanks for the heads up. Are you considering an MDT for your next tow vehicle?
