The Samsung Blu-Ray player is my first on-line media player. After getting it set up on my network, I was thoroughly enjoying playing music through the Pandora app. Then a problem: the player would power down after about 5 to 10 minutes of use. Bummer!
Turns out the remedy was easy: Go into Settings and perform a software update. Took a couple of minutes over the network connection. All automatic. Lo and behold I even had more apps (Netflix, Hulu, etc) and the time out problem was fixed!
So, the lesson learned is do a software update right away on these devices. Hope this helps someone else.
