Just another heads up to all who have this fixture over their sink. The globes are made of glass and are held in place with a plastic nut. I didn't notice that one was loose. We returned home today from a weekend trip and found that one globe fell onto the sink countertop and broke into a million pieces on the floor, stovetop and sofa. We are finding glass everywhere so to save a headache you might want to periodically check these plastic nuts. I think I will try to find a pair of plastic globes to replace these so I will end up with an original glass globe I won't need. The opening is 1 and 3/16".
Update:
Ran over to Home Depot and picked up a couple of stainless steel covers. I had to make rubber washers to handle the larger holes but at least they are lighter than the glass covers.
