Wayne, miles per gallon is a relative thing. Its a fact that a gas engine will not get the same as a diesel engine. A gas engine has to work twice as hard to pull as a diesel engine does. Most people post 6-8 MPG on gas. You might be lucky and get more. The acid test is to do it and see what happens. It will never get the mileage that your PS 350 does.

I believe I have this combination on my 2011 F 250. I get about 12 unloaded and 6-8 towing. Go with the diesel!

Moved on to the next thing...
I have a 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500HD with the 6.0L Vortec gas/flexfuel engine.

I get about 14 mpg unloaded and 9-10 mpg when pulling the 5'ver.

I do have the 4.10 rear end . . . it is a trailer haulin' beast!

We have the F250 and the Sundance 322RES which loaded weighs about 10000 lbs.

Non towing city 11 to 13 mpg

Non towing highway 14 to 18 mpg

Towing trailer 7.9 to 10.5 depending on conditions

:cool:I have a 2012 Ford 6.2 Gasser and I pull a 5th wheel loaded at about 12,000lbs and we pull from Arizona to California, Colorado and Utah and get on average about 10 to ll mpg. I'm very pleased with my Ford. Up to now I've always had a Chevy and really loved them all, but my Ford is great and gets the job done just fine.
