Side Step Recall

Hello all,
I understand that Heartland may have a recall out for certain model Cyclones (and other models) concerning the side steps. I'm trying to determine which models would be affected. Does anyone have more information?

One of mine sheared off in the wee early hours somewhere in moab....I fell, but luckily no harm...I ended up having to go to hardware store and buy a bolt,washers, and a lock nut (2 trips actually because 7/16th is too big lol)...

Then I had to drill and bang out the portion of rivet stuck in hole...

What a pain (and a couple of scratches)!!

I'll be taking my unit back to dealer for warranty repairs in nov...so I'll add that to my ever growing list

And I'll tell ya what kinda irks me is that the recall was issued in April. ..I didn't even buy mine till july...and it was handed over to me with dangerous steps and all...

I believe that we have the tri-steps rather than the quad-steps for both doors, so hopefully this does not affect us.

My RV fell within that recall window. I called HL with my VIN and confirmed that the recall had been applied to my unit prior to purchase.
