For those with friends and family and for those Winter Texas that stay here in Rockport during the winter, Google Maps has updated its database with new aerial imagery. Looks to have been updated between August 28 and September 1 (per Facebook comments for several Rockport FB communities).
EDIT: You may only be able to see the updated damage view by using the cellphone app and zooming in. Some folks are having issues seeing the damage on their laptop (PC).
Many RV parks, including those inland by several miles, have severe damage.
God bless Texas and all of our friends in Rockport and the Coastal Bend. We're moving back as soon as we have a new RV.
