Laying rubber roof

Hello,
I'm about to be ready for the epdm to be played out and glued down.

The old rubber roof that came up (pretty sure it was alpha) left the plywood sticky to the touch. It's pretty smooth but sticky feeling. Can I roll the new glue right over that and be good? If not, what d
Would you suggest. It's the first 12' from the front as the rest had new plywood put in.

Thanks for the help

If the old roof came up without any damage to the underlying luan layer, I'd guess the glue isn't adhering properly. I would not want that old adhesive as the base for the new roof.

Probably only came up as nice because its alpha roofing. It was definitely held down fine.

But your probably right about not having that the contact. Just not sure how I should try to get it cleaned up.
