We had this problem with the gold decals on our 2010. We knew that replacing them would only result in the same problem re-occurring, so we had our dealer just remove all the gold decals and opted not to replace them at all. (Heartland did not offer to provide us with an alternate color.)

Glad to see that you are repaired and back on your Grand Canyon trip ! We live in Las Cruces, NM and I have to ask - just where were you able to get the axle and bearing work done in Cloudcroft ??

Mac, THANK YOU for sharing this post. We also just purchased a 2010 Oakmont in March and had the exact same experience. How resourceful you have been in custom fitting your own mattress! We may have to try our hand at this as well. What type of needle and thread did you use for the re-sew...
