    Bedroom Thermostat

If you have 2 thermostats, one in the main living area, and one in the bedroom, the heater is more than likely controlled by the thermostat in the main area. However, not knowing what RV you have, it's hard to help diagnose the problem. Sent from my SM-G781U using Tapatalk

Watr filters come w/ fittings only

It could be that it is cheaper that way without having to source and stock different part numbers. It may be worth a call to ask them if they plan to stock the filter without fittings. Sent from my SM-G781U using Tapatalk

    screwed up factory wiring ATS

That's why I liked the version they had with the remote display. An LED under a cover, in the basement, doesn't do anyone any good. I was a little disappointed when they said they discontinued that model. Sent from my SM-G781U using Tapatalk

Manual Transfer Switch Upgrade (Blue Sea Systems #8363)

It's been nice! There have been zero problems with the switch. I was sent two new LEDs (one for each leg), but haven't had the time to install them. But, like I said, knowing when shore power is up was more important for me. Sent from my SM-G781U using Tapatalk

    Looking for breaker info

They do wear out! Just look up RV circuit breaker 12-24V on Amazon or other sites and make sure you get the right amperage rating for the circuit it's going on. Automatic reset is what you will find more common. The battery should probably have a manual reset breaker - they look the same but...

    screwed up factory wiring ATS

It definitely did. So if I recall correctly, the coils are energized on shore power so when the generator kicks on they get de-energized isolating shore power which prevents the generator from passing power through to shore side. These were definitely hooked up correctly from the factory as...

    screwed up factory wiring ATS

Wait until you experience low line voltage from shore power then the AC kicks on. It'll chatter faster than a wood chuck chucks. I could use a stick to press the relay down and that might work for a little while. So much for them working at lower voltages. I had one line down as low as 107V...

Torque 373 Onan Generator fuel starvation

I'm out of ideas. You'd have to consult with the extended warranty company to see what they will cover. Perhaps someone else has better thoughts on this. It may be worth a call directly to Heartland (not a dealer) to see what they have to say. Sent from my SM-G781U using Tapatalk

Torque 373 Onan Generator fuel starvation

Definitely shouldn't be a fuel pump issue. It could be a venting issue. Try running the generator with the fuel tank cap off. Sent from my SM-G781U using Tapatalk

Torque 373 Onan Generator fuel starvation

There is a fuel level sensor in the tank that attaches to the top and extends down. It could be that it is loose as far as the rattling noise goes. I don't recall if there is a pick up tube that extends down from the top of the tank - if so, perhaps something came loose. Fuel starvation could...

Does anyone know what this is?

Looks like something that was or is used for an ice maker setup option for the fridge or perhaps for an RO system. If it's not being used for anything, you can cap it off or get an inline piece, brass or plastic, from a hardware store. Then wrap it in some insulation to prevent it from freezing...

    battery choice

I personally use US Battery 2200 XC2 (I think that's the model). They are 6V deep cycle wired in series/parallel. In my old RV that I had, I used the similar version from Trojan. Both great batteries. Prior to getting the US Battery, I installed whatever brand Sam's Club carries and they barely...

Do You Think this is an internal or external box problem

Before I installed the soft start devices on my RV, I had two ATSs go out - first the original, then the new, upgraded version. After the second one went out, I investigated further and found that one leg coming into the house from the utility had low voltage. Oddly, the voltage was above 100V...

Do You Think this is an internal or external box problem

I wouldn't be surprised if the solder joints under the screw down terminal were poorly done. The furnace heater control board on my RV did something similar, although, it wasn't apparent until I pulled the board to inspect it. Reflowed solder and all is good. I would say that is a manufacturer...
