I paid for the medical and took it to the license place and they said that it would have to go to their head office for review????? This after my doc said there were no reservations.
They said that would take about a week and when approved I could book a test....about...

we purchased the extended warranty for $1900 in august.
Just got a letter saying they are not accepting it...wonder what that is about...oh yeah, no refund as yet.
Just got he letter today..will look into it tomorrow...had to pat GST on it when i imported it to Canada...go figure

Just got the licence today at the local bureau.
There is a descepancy with my story as opposed to yours Chip.
The american border guys didn't need to do anything as the unit is not motorized.
Therefore there is no need to fax 3 days ahead. This is only for trucks and cars, which I did in March...

So I paid the RIV fee on line by credit card, and overnight they emailed me the FORM 2. (RIV fee=$204)
Took form 2 to Canadian Tire and the technician took about 3.5 minutes to apporve the form...pretty good hourly rate.
He verified the conformance to USA standards which was a tag on the left...

Wwhere did you get the sample questions.....the book they sold me "THE OFFICIAL MOT TRUCK HANDBOOK" does not list anything like that.

From what I can determine, as of June 2008, there is a new classification designated "A R"
which is a restricted A class.
It appears that for the weights you indicated, that you take a road test and are licensed for the truck/trailer combination that you test...
