We just brought our 2010 2450 TS home a few weeks ago and noticed that the windows are only caulked on the top and about 6 inches down. Is this normal and if so why do they not caulk them all around? These units do go down the road when it is raining which seems like a concern? Bobbi

We did have resistall put inside and out of our previous unit (non Heartland). In regards to the exterior we saw no difference. Black streaks needed to be scrubbed (although not with lots of elbow grease) but the unit did look dull after a year. We would not do it again.

We are soon to take possession of our 2011 BC and would have gladly paid for self leveling and hydraulic jacks if it had been an option.

We are delivering our old 5th wheel to the buyers and are anxiously awaiting delivery of our new BC. May 1 cannot come soon enough.

We will soon be taking possession of our new BC and the one thing that I wish it would have had is a compartment within the computer slide-out to actually store my laptop as opposed to just allowing it to sit on top of the slide out. Has anyone made an adaptation for this on their own?

I love the idea of the galvanized sheet metal around the wheels. We live in the woods in northern MN and I get mice in my car every fall. I am going to try wrapping the wheels not only on my Honda but on our brand spanking new Big Country when we get it. Thanks for that tip.
