    Recommended Caulking for Roof

Thanks very much for the information. When I replace the skylight, I will put the putty tape between and then seal the top. I looked into the EternaBond stuff but it is really expensive.

    Electrical Overheating

WDK450, That was the best answer I have ever received. I actually understand what you said. Do you think it would be a good idea to replace the end with a new one? That way I can secure the wiring inside the plug myself and routinely inspect it. Thanks again for your explanation. Chris

    Electrical Overheating

I have been keeping a eye on this and the factory power plug is starting to get a fried look on the face where the prongs come out. The prongs aren't looking to good themselves. I noticed that the factory cord gets really hot to the touch when I have the AC running on high an extended amount...

    Recommended Caulking for Roof

I think there is a misunderstanding. I think you are referring to the vent cap. I am referring to the skylight over the shower that does not open. But thanks for the recommendation on the sealant. I read somewhere that it is recommended you put putty tape down between the plastic skylight...

Decals Are Ripping and Pealing Off

Well, the dealer I bought my camper from no longer sells Heartland....shocker since they screwed me over so bad. The only dealer near me is Bluegrass RV in Lexington. They did warranty work on my RV after I bought it but left off the gold decal from the door....never have had it put back on.

    Recommended Caulking for Roof

I found a crack in the skylight of my bathroom. I ordered a new skylight directly from Heartland and I need some recommendation for replacing it. Can anyone provide me with a recommendation on caulk and procedures for switching out the skylight? Any information will be helpful. Thanks, Chris

Decals Are Ripping and Pealing Off

I have a 2010 29RKS that I am quite proud of. I had noticed and made Heartland aware of the decals when I bought it. The decals appeared they were not put on properly. They just stuck on the high flat surfaces of the siding instead of being pushed down into the groves. This has resulted in...

    Electrical Overheating

I have had my North Country for two years now. It has the upgraded AC unit in it. I have noticed that if it is really hot outside (as it has been in Kentucky all summer) and I have to run the AC a lot, the electrical panel is getting MEGA hot. It has even tripped all the breakers for the...

    Electric Tongue Jack

I was actually able to email Chris Stender (thanks to Jim Beletti), brand manager, at the factory about the proper sizing for the tongue jack. He advised that the hole is in fact 2 1/4 inches. I hope this helps others out looking to upgrade to an electric tongue jack.

    2010 nc 29rks ls +

I have a 2010 NC 29rks ls but mine was manufactured in late 2008 (according to the frame sticker). Mine has the short wardrobes that are useless!! I wish I would have waited a while longer to buy mine and get the full wardrobes. We LOVE our Heartland very much. Hope you enjoy and thanks for...

    Electric Tongue Jack

I am guessing that 3500lbs should do it. What do you all think? I measured the hole and it is 2 inches....I was really hoping for 2 1/4 inches so I could buy the one with the extension foot on it.

    Electric Tongue Jack

I have been researching buying an electric tongue jack to replace my manual jack on my North Country 29RKS. I have found out that there are two different tongue jack diameters, a 2 1/4 inch and 2 inch. Can anyone advise me on the correct size my North Country will take. Thank You.

    Electric Tongue Jacks

Moderator, could you please move my post to the appropriate area....probably electrical. I mistakenly posted in the "prospective owners" forum. Thanks.

    Electric Tongue Jacks

I have been looking real hard at buying a tongue jack. The ole back has had two surgeries and the crankin on the manual jack has got to come to an end. I have been looking at many remans on Ebay. Came across the Odyssey 3000lbs electric jack that is a reman but with a 3 year warranty. My...

    NC Tongue Level Height?

I have researched this a lot for myself because of when I bought mine, the NC was much higher. I have a 2500 GMC Yukon which I think is about the same height as yours. I was told by numerous "experts" it's better to be a little low at the hitch than too high. I have ran my both ways and and...
