I went the Transfer-Flow route also. 50 gallon aux plus 30 gal stock means I don't have to stop but every 600-800 miles!

Don't forget that you have approx 3ft hanging over your bed when your towing. So the net length is shorter than 40ft.

Got one also. It's my first 5th hitch so I don't have any point of reference. It seems easy to operate and has a very heavy duty look to it.

That is correct, Ford doesn't include the plug in warm weather states. Aftermarket is lots cheaper. Seems like you have plenty of aptitude to install it. Should only take 15-20 min.

My dealer suggested running it the last 1/2-1 hr from your destination if your heading somewhere really hot like the desert. That way the a/c and refer have a head start when you arrive. I haven't done it, but thought it a good idea.

The 0-60 time on the Ford seems awfully slow, I know mine (unladen) rips to 60 much quicker than 12 sec.!! How much other info is inaccurate? For all three trucks!
