I'm a veteran backpacker and camper but very new to the RV experience. Sure is nice to wake up in cold weather and just throw a (heater) switch to get warm. No need to build a fire and jump around the campfire trying to stay warm. Most of my use to date of the MPG is in conjunction with mountain bike or road cycling outings at destinations 100 or more miles from my home in Houston. Some day soon (retirement is right around the corner for both me and my wife) we'll have to take the trailer out for a nice long trek and visit a few national parks outside of Texas.
