We have a 2008 Bighorn with frame problems. We Called Heartland and they are giving us the run around. We had a crack in the 5th overhang, talked to Heartland in December and they said it is water damage. We took it to an independent RV facility, they removed the skin from the underside of...
My concern is that I'm going from a 27" - 26 lb tv to a 37" - 29 lb tv. As it will not fit in the cabinet I was looking for suggestions on how to secure it.
I am also considering mounting directly to desk top. If anyone has attempted any of these I would appreciate knowing what you did to...
Hi, We have a '08 Bighorn 3055. We want to replace the 27" TV with a 32 or 37" Vizio. Has anyone replaced their factory TV? Any input would be very helpful.
Thanks, D & J
We have '08 3055 with '07 GMC Durmax Short/Reg. box. I had the manual slider hitch installed but never have had to use it. We have logged over 15,000 miles without incident.

I have an '07 3055 Bighorn. I wrote to Heartland on the forum but so far no reply. I have been having tire problems, blowouts, bubbles, sidewall breakdowns but always on the same tire. I am thinking maybe the axel.
I have 235/80/16 load range E tires now and I was thinking of going to...
Hi Fred.
I would also like to add a lift kit for a scooter. Can you tell me where you went to get the work done and do you know how they figured how much weight the frame could handle.
Thanks D
Does anyone know why adding anything on the back of the trailer voids the warrenty? I know of many other 5th manufactures that put a hitch on the trailer at the factory. What is so different with our frame that we cannot do it without voiding the warrenty?

the floors in the bedroom (at foot of bed) and floor in kitchen (right down the middle) sequeak when you walk on them. You can stand there a just step on/off the area to make it squeak.
Any thoughts?
We have a 3/4 ton .. 2500 GMC Durmax. I thought our max carrying cap. of truck was around 1600 lbs. Sounds like we would have to much weight in the bed of truck. We were considering air-bags but don't know if that would help with the weight carrying cap. of the truck.... any thoughts....
My GVW states 14000 lbs but my axels say 6000 lbs each which equals only 12000 lbs.
Are these axels up to the 14000 lbs weight?
What is the actual carrying capacity of the frame?
