I’ll do that. Replacing the pin is not something I want to make a habit of since it’s going to run about $100 to replace!

Not sure on your trailer. On mine the breakers are in the same area as the battery cut off switch. If you’re not familiar with them they’re fairly small. Smaller than I expected.

My 2011 Landmark 5th Wheel had a similar issue. This summer it was sitting at our campground plugged into 30 amp shore power all season. When we pulled the trailer at the end of the season I unplugged & the slide outs & jacks wouldn’t move. The voltage read around 12.1 volts. After some...
Found the cause when I picked up the Paradigm Tuesday. I removed the slide pin from the kingpin adapter & saw that it had significant dent on the end of the pin. This also caused an irregularly (metal pushed up on the edge of the dent) that I filed as smooth as possible. Slide pin still wouldn’t...
I measured the dimensions on my seals & researched options online, called Heartland, etc. Ultimately I decided to order from Amazon not because they were cheaper (they were) but because I could easily return them if they didn’t fit or I didn’t like the quality. The fit was fine & the quality I...
I’ve had an Andersen Ultimate hitch for over 6 years & recently added a second on our new trailer. On a recent trip the latch cable that engages the pin that holds the kingpin adapter on the ball jammed occasionally. By fiddling around with it & raising the trailer slightly to relieve pressure I...
Just got my new dogbone adapter & tested it. Unlike my old one no “Open” readings. So I think that’s one of the issues solved. We’ll see if the rv shop comes up with anything else. I almost wish they do come up with something, just seems like the issue is multifaceted & not one thing is going to...
Funny that it doesn’t work for me.
I took the
Landmark on a 100 mile trip yesterday & at the end the level up display was reading 12.7 volts. Lowered to 12.1 volts after running the jacks to remove from truck.

Thanks for the detailed response. Unfortunately the link doesn’t work. My trailer has been plugged into 15 amp shore power with a long extension cord at my house for 4 days. The reading from my level up display says 11.9 volts, same as when I plugged it in. Do I need to be plugged into 30 amp...
So since the testing shows open it means there isn’t a connection between the two blades on the adapter therefore it’s bad, is that correct? (Because I’ll test the new one as soon as I get it)
I’ll bet it’s been bad since I got it years ago since I’ve also been having this problem for years.

Wow, this is getting irritating.
Continuity- Meter signal with a tone indicating less than 10 Ohms then showed OL/Open on the display.

Part of my message was dropped when I pressed reply.
Continuity should have read:
Continuity- Meter signaled with a tone indicating Open on the display.

Tested my adapter:
Resistance - Meter showed OL/Open
Continuity - Meter signaled with a tone indicating Then showed OL/Open on the display.
Do these results indicate a working or defective adapter?
Thanks
