Sprint changing ETF and starting Overage charges

We've had our Sprint EVDO for over a year, and signed up for the "unlimited" plan. We got Sprint "Mobile Broadband" because, well, we are mobile. We just got a nastygram from Sprint saying we've used a lot of data, especially while roaming and that per their terms of service we need to stop...

    Have dog, will travel.

Dog door mostly done. There are a couple of "would have done differently" items, mainly that the hinges for the screen door take up more room than I measured for, so the door is a little bit tight. It will take a little extra work to fix since the aluminum is silicon-sealed to the wood, but...

    Wagging the tow vehicle

I've only been in a "started-to-sway" situation once about 15 years ago. Trailer brakes and acceleration pulled me out of it. It was more than a bit scary (and no sway control at the time). It does seem counter-intuitive to go for the gas, but I'm a believer. I've also become a believer in the...

    Wagging the tow vehicle

http://www.break.com/usercontent/2008/8/gumball-rally-2008-live-cam-catches-suv-crash-552553.html It's hard to tell for sure, but it looks like no sway control, driver hit the brakes, and maybe even trailer too long for the TV.

    Built-in water pressure regulator?

Is there a built-in water pressure regulator for city water on the '09 26RKS? I use an external 50psi regulator and seem to have very low pressure at the faucets. I've looked inside, under the cabinets, and can see where the city water connector comes in, but can't tell if it is a hose...

    Have dog, will travel.

The kennel is attached with a total of two saddle straps to the Kendorf (slotted channel steel) and it, in turn, is held to the steps with the two 3/8" bolts with knurled handles. I used steel rivets to hold the brackets onto the steps (even pan-head bolts would have caused too much...

Can my RAM Hemi safely be used to tow this Sundance XLT?

As an additional note, the same chart I have (from Dodge) shows 13,000lbs GCWR. The weight of my '07 Ram 1500 was about 6,200lbs with me in it. Note that this is the 2008 chart, but 2006-2008 should be nearly the same if not identical. It sounds like you are going to be really close to or over...

Can my RAM Hemi safely be used to tow this Sundance XLT?

Double check your weight ratings. The chart I have shows 7,500lbs with the 3.55 gears. I also found out that payload with passengers + dogs + gear + topper was actually much higher than I expected it to be. I ended up getting a Ram 2500 (same engine, but suspension/payload capacity was much...

    Water pump stutters

Well, now I don't know. It's not doing it now. It's now "pummmmmp... pause. pummmmp... pause", as I'd expect.

    Have dog, will travel.

I've made enough progress on the doggy door to show the first picture. The radius corners were quite... fun.. to make. I'm surrounding the door with 1/2" aluminum channel to give a little rigidity and a place for the hinges to attach without the screws pulling out. I was thinking about...

    Water pump stutters

I went to the Shurflo site and got information on adjusting the demand pressure, but I haven't had a chance to try anything yet. I'm currently working on making a replacement for the screen door to give us a doggy-door. I'll hopefully have more information on both this weekend.

Plumbling: Possible water heater drain mod

Oooh. Spiffy. I'll have to check my dealer and see if they have that in stock. Thanks,

    Electrical ghost in Sundance XLT????

Our "1/2 time microwave" worked for about 30 seconds and then stopped on our first trip. The power plug for it was apparently just loose (or just tight) enough to work before the trip and then for just a moment when we were camping. Check the plug. ;)

Plumbling: Possible water heater drain mod

On the 26RKS the water heater is on the street-side of the front storage compartment. It seems like it would be trivial to add a water heater drain by an additional valve/hose at the water heater bypass. Is there a reason why the only documented/official method I can find to drain the water...

    Water pump stutters

It does the same on both the kitchen and bath faucets, partly or fully open. I'll check out the Shurflo site and see if there is anything interesting, though. Thanks!
