After months of trying to find that right trailer and view this fourm, what turned out to be a simple inquiry, evolved into ownership in a few short hours. Sorry that it wasn't our dream rig Landmark, but for what we saved we'll be on the road soon with our 2006 Montana 3400RL. Nancy and I can't...
just courious, for toyhauling and campground access, which would be better- a Landmark with the side ramp as suggested or a rear ramp? Doesn't Heartland allready have a side ramp model (Sundance)? If so it should not be a streach to design a Landmark as John has polled.

Joann,
My wife and have yet to buy that 1st 5th wheel RV so I'll be no help as to the specific unit and how pan installation can or can't be a problem. I do however run a plumbing supply house and,or at least, in our area the washing machine is a major cause of home damage. We sell a...
We have yet to buy our 5th wheel but while checking rates for our budget, we discovered that our coverage on the tow vehicle also included the trailer. We would only need to purchase coverage while we were detached. Makes me wonder if I would need extra libility coverage if I didn't unhook.Can...
When using a prefilter system, don't forget pressure loss. With that said there are whole house filters that allow for higher gpm's with minimal pressure loss. Here's a link, http://www.aquapure.com/homewater/wh.html

I can't seem to get my wife to even consider a Toy Hauler. We own a Heritage Springer and it would be great to have the bike with us, but the main reason I wanted one was I thought the garage would make a cool place for our grandson & any of his travling companions to hangout and sleep. The...
John,
1" galv has an OD of roughly 1.32" so the cover would need to have an id measurment a little larger. I've seen people take the covers, that you listed, and make them work by putting the slit is the back of the rod, ...Steve
The best closet rod available is a piece of 1" galv. steel pipe cut to fit, homebuilders have used it for decades. The only draw back is appearence, but if my memory serves me correctly chrome sleeving is avalible to cover. When I get back to the office Monday i'll research and let the forum...
Tom,
I 1st bought a c340 and ended up with the c550 because of bluetooth. The only downfall is mounting, all it takes is a warm day and the mounts become useless. Today I tried siliconing the extra mount to the fold down ashtray on the Dodge, its out of the way and a great spot for the...
Bluegrassman,
Thanks for the info. We've yet to buy that 1st RV/5er so I'm digesting all I can untill that day. Cut my teeth on Bluegrass early 70's and still have a '54 Gibson A style Mando. Now I play mostly blues/harmonica.

Kakampers,
Did the factory explain if there is a difference between a fully loaded 3670 just sitting on the hitch and how much load is on the hitch when that 16k fully loaded trailer is running up a steep grade or down for that matter? Since I joined this forum I've seen drainage...
Don,
I'm at the shop-Thompson Supply- today (inventory), anyway I keep a coral door repair kit here. If you are in Montgomery today and want to stop by and bring your pin we can look to see if there is anything in the kit that will work. I'm not sure how long I'll be here but it should be...
One method electricians used was to have one GFI in one bathroom and place all outside plugs and other baths on that one GFI. All it takes is a hairdryer and a iron to hit at the same time and you've tripped the GFI and sometimes it will also knock out the breaker. Add to all those circuits...
