    Hydraulic front jacks 0n Bighorn

I had the same problem. Turned out when they replaced my jack, they made a loop in the hose that caused an air trap. They took the jack off and bleed it correctly. Problem solved.

    ATF: Bighorn - Issues

I don't understand why a dealer would want to do this? Heartland had no problem sending a new stove and dinning room table right away. My dealer put them in, repaired my punch list from our trial run and did some recalls on the AC. They just couldn't get Heartland to send the jack. Over my...

    ATF: Bighorn - Issues

It's so sad when people have such problems with their new trailers. Most of the problem you listed were there before you took delivery. I'm camped next to a Heartland owner that hates his trailer because of all the problems. The small problems became big problems because they were not fixed...

    caulking

I just did a thread on this. The caulking turned to dust in one year of use on my Heartland. Had to clean off all of the old and replace it. Would of payed an extra ten dollars and had them use some better quality caulking if I had the option. Have talked to many people sense and this is a...

3 circuits not working after a moving day

Having voltage at all the breakers means the break in voltage is between the breaker and the outlets. Each slide has a j-box, before the flex line on the slide. Check those boxes for power next and let us know.

    Baggage compartment door

Nice. I've wanted to do that to my door as well. What size of strut did you use?

    Air bags yes or no?

I had trailers before we went to 5th wheels. Started out with the equalizer hitch and ended up with bags. Used two sway control bars to stop the whip or make it a minimum. After we packed the trailer and hooked up, I would level the trailer to the truck using the bags. A level trailer, with...

    Fresh New Mod.

Nice. I made panels for all my switches. I hate the loose fit hole and the lick&stick labels that they use.

    Sewer gas smell

I bet you get the " you need to check your connection every 90 day". After the first 90 days you are on your own regardless of workmen ship or defect.

    New Tow Vehicle

When you are towing, you can add or subtract gain by hitting the plus or minus keys by the manual trailer brake handle. Find what you like and save the settings for that trailer. Start high and work down. Never the other way. Enjoy your new truck.

The New Solar Install on Our Bighorn

That is one big system. I love my system. 8:00 at night here in Oregon, On the computer, watching TV, the wife is printing reports and we charged everything that has a battery today. All on solar. So far this year, we have made and used 521Kw.

E2 Hitch Question of the week

I towed a 29ft trailer with a half ton many years back. Added a second friction sway bar to the set up and it made all the difference in the world. Like others have said, you need to do the total package from tongue weight to tire pressure when towing but, you can feel it when you add the...

ATF: Big Country - unreal let down

I ordered my trailer during the roll over time frame. It said in the contract that the factory had the right to change or eliminate any item. I changed that to, I had to be notified of any changes in year build. I ordered a 2016, when it came time to build it they decided mine would be a...

    Minimal solar

Sounds like you just want to keep your battery charged. Take some time and figure out what your power consumption is per day. Match a system that will keep your battery full. I like to use a company named Renogy. They do a kit that has everything you need. Gave you a link below. I now have...
