TX - Johnson City (Hill Country) - Miller Creek RV Resort

We stayed at Miller Creek in January/February of this year, and we loved this campground:) The owners/managers were very helpful and they also sold lavender which was lovely for me:D They put us in a back in spot right next to their river, but, alas....no water:( at that time of year. Yes...

    Replacing the Sofa

Imchud:..... We know what you mean about the sofa being on the "short side" cushion wise...here is how I fixed that problem in our Sundance. I removed the stuffing from the pillows, there are zippers at the very bottom of the pillows....(not the seats mind you, just the back pillows) and then...

BTW, we absolutely love our Sundance 265xlt....so much so that we made some mods to it when we returned this last winter from 3 months on the road in the southwest. My DH, who is very...

DH put in new elec plug.....

We have a Sundance 265XLT and we love it, however, the only electrical plug we had on the door side of the coach was in the rear kitchen area, which drove me nuts! We have a chair which sits right next to a small 2 drawer side table but I couldn't even put a small lamp on it because...

    North/South bed to East/West mod???

Well, we did it!! Yep, my DH pulled out the three small, I mean tiny, closets in the bedroom and gave me a sliding doors wardrobe complete with 6 shelves on the inside for folded items.....it is beautiful!! We turned the bed so now the head is directly under the window.....lovely!! We are...

    North/South bed to East/West mod???

I posted this on the 5th wheel forum, but also thought there might be some great ideas here too. We are the proud owners of a Sundance 265rk xlt, and we love it, except that we found after 3 months as a snowbird this last winter, we would love to have a full closet in the bedroom:o I know, I...

12 hour drive with my fur child

I second that one about making sure you know where the kitties are before putting the slide in or out. We always lock ours in the bedroom of our 5th wheel before we do anything electrical.......always!!!! Cannot be too careful with those little rascals;)

Turning bed in non slideout bedroom

Just a question. We were thinking of turning our bed from it's current position (say N/S) to a E/W position. We have found that the only thing we missed in over 5,000 miles of snowbirding this winter in our non-slide bedroom is a wardrobe closet. We have a 265rk xlt. My DH is very handy and...
