Took delivery of the Cyclone 3612 this weekend it's home!
Well the trip home was uneventful. I have to admit this is my first fifth wheel and a big one it is at that, I am honest in saying that it was a bit intimidating towing this RV at first but a few miles down with 30+ MPH winds and sketchy...
Would like some opinions about where to store the roof top ladder from other Cyclone owners, it takes up allot of space in the garage. Mounted it only adds 6" to the width anyone leave it mounted?
Thanks in advance for the help
The Cyclone arived at the dealer today.
The Cyclone 3612 is now at the dealership in VA. I will attached a few photo's they sent me of the toy-hauler. Will take delivery this weekend going to do a thorough inspection and off to camp in Spartanburg and stay for a few days. A few of the changes...
Thanks
Ill be glad to post my imprressions of the air hitch should get a good idea of how well its works omn the return trip home. Thanks for the kind words.
Well I just received word that our new Cyclone 3612 is in route to the dealership wooohooo! So short of the dealer doing their PDI just a few more days wait till I can finally see the new Cyclone . I bought the 3612 floor plan sight unseen because this particular floor plan was new for the...
Heartland Cyclone
The make is Heartland it's a newer Cyclone model that just came out around 4 months ago nice floor plan, I have included a couple of pic's that I have acquired from my dealer in Virginia of a 3612 they have in stock.

Thanks for the input Bob. I have already ordered the airsafe hitch I know the cost is greater upfront but hopefully it will pay dividends in wear and tear in both the TV, RV and driver down the road. As for the pin box they make one without the air-ride as for the length I would have to check on...
It was early this morning and apparently I did not have enough coffee to think properly and include enough information for others to help me sorry about that.
I completely overlooked the fact that I was considering using a sidewinder 19K pin box in place of the factory unit. It locks the pin...
Sidewinder pin box question?
After reading the comments in this thread I am considering purchasing a sidewinder pin box for my Cyclone 3612 I have on order. I have a pretty tight turn to get into my driveway and it would be disturbing to get the new rv home to find out I may not be able to get...
I was thinking of the sidewinder because of the 22" is moves the pivot point further to the back of my short bed pickup. I was hoping to never hear the dreaded crunch and smash of glass. I have a fairly tight turn to get into my house would hate to get the new RV there to find out it not...
Hope someone be aware of what make and model pin box Heartland users for the Cyclone toy-haulers the 3612 to be exact.
Thanks in advance considering having a sidewinder pin box installed in place of the factory one.
I recently toured a Cyclone 3010 in Central Fl noticed that the cabinet doors in this brand new unit were separating and the joints not just one or 2 of the cabinet doors but like 10 or 12 throughout the coach at the stile and rail joints. Having a little background on cabinetry I noticed that...
Thanks for the welcome and advice Jim will give it a thorough looking over before taking delivery. And I called the dealership about the TV hookups in the bedroom and he said they were in the ceiling on the enrty door side of the coach FYI.
Thanks again
